Barrhead 23 hour contract Shift Pattern – 8am until 8am with overnight support and/or 8am until 7.30pm.

Driver required – manual licence.

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but we can guarantee that you will be supporting someone who requires support to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be.

Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role as Support Worker may include:

  • Assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.
  • Providing personal care and support to individuals with varying needs.
  • Assisting with moving, handling and mobility tasks.
  • Delivering positive behavioural support and encouraging social engagement.
  • Supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals and outcomes.
  • Driving for person-carrying assignments; a manual driving licence is essential.
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive environment at all times.
