About the role
Are you interested in working for an award winning social care charity? Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. You will be supporting someone who requires help to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be. Each person we support has different needs, so your role may include assisting with personal care, moving and handling, or positive behavioural support while helping expand their social networks and connections. Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations are met. The people we support have varied interests and dreams; a career with Enable is diverse and rewarding. Personal Assistants have the potential to bring out the best in the people we support.
Campus Project context
The Campus Project provides temporary accommodation to unaccompanied asylum seekers who have arrived in Scotland. Staff support the young people to engage in health and education and to develop life skills to live independently in the community.
