Stravaig is an emergency homeless service situated in Partick, Glasgow. We have 9 flats and communal areas within the building. It is a supportive environment where our residents work towards gaining the necessary skills to secure and maintain a tenancy of their own. We are looking to recruit a committed and self-motivated Domestic Worker who will provide a comprehensive housekeeping service, maintaining a high standard of the physical environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive housekeeping to the service, ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment.
- Follow COSHH regulations; maintain equipment and materials to the standard required by Health & Safety legislation.
- Keep cleaning schedules and records up to date.
- Support safe and clean service operations in line with current policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Working knowledge of COSHH regulations is essential; previous relevant experience is preferred.
- Experience of social care or addiction is required.
- Appointment is subject to satisfactory PVG membership, SSSC registration, and safer recruitment checks.
- If unqualified, you may work towards a suitable qualification for this level in line with SSSC regulatory requirements; support will be provided.
