Head of Training Services in Aberdeen

We are looking for an enthusiastic Service Manager to lead and develop our Care at Home and Housing Support services across the North East. This is a varied and rewarding role, providing leadership and oversight across a range of services and supporting teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support that enables people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and communities.

You'll be responsible for creating a positive culture, developing and supporting your teams, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the people we support experience excellent outcomes. You'll build strong relationships with the people we support, families, colleagues and external partners, while ensuring our services maintain high standards of quality, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.

The role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse geographical area, so a flexible approach to travel between services is essential. We're looking for someone who is approachable, organised and confident, with the leadership skills and experience to bring people together, embrace change and ensure our services continue to grow and develop.

You must have the passion and drive to take a lead role in continuing to improve the quality of the services we provide to the people we support and to effectively lead and support local Team Facilitators to manage our frontline support staff. This role is pivotal to the success of our mission and ambition to support people with a learning disability to lead the lives of their choosing; a successful Service Manager will lead their teams to develop and maintain good relationships and communications with the family and Social Care professionals involved in the lives of the people we support.

• Significant experience of leading and managing Supported Living Services.
• A commitment to the inclusion of people with a learning disability.
• An in-depth understanding of the Self Directed Support Act and its principles.
• SVQ Health & Social Care Level 3 is essential.
• The ability to lead our business strategy at a local level whilst promoting ENABLE Scotland with an emphasis on growing our business.
• Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle for business use.
