With a reputation for delivering high-quality projects and maintaining a mature, flexible and family-focused working culture, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their headquarters in Aberdeen. The company delivers a broad range of civil engineering work including earthworks, structures, drainage, roads, sewers and infrastructure projects.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial and financial performance of civils projects.
- Prepare valuations, cost forecasts, CVRs and commercial reporting.
- Lead subcontract procurement, tender analysis and contract administration.
- Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with NEC contracts across all live projects.
- Work closely with Project Managers and senior leadership to drive financial efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, designers and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Strong civils experience: structures, earthworks, roads, drainage, sewers, infrastructure.
- Proven experience working as a QS or Senior QS in civil engineering.
- Excellent understanding of NEC contracts (essential).
- Strong reporting, forecasting and commercial management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive, professional team.
- Based within commuting distance of Aberdeen or willing to relocate.
