A leading civil engineering contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Section Engineer to support the delivery of major highways projects across the South East.
Based around the Guildford area, you ll work on a variety of schemes within the National Highways network, covering works across Hampshire, Oxfordshire and surrounding regions.
This role will involve both day and night shifts and offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of highways infrastructure projects, including carriageway construction, surfacing, drainage, structures, waterproofing, expansion joints, VRS, ducting and associated highway improvements.
The Role As Section Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out, quality assurance, technical compliance and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design specifications and project requirements.
You will work closely with site management teams, subcontractors and clients, reviewing drawings, resolving technical queries and undertaking inspections to ensure works meet the required quality standards.
The position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to work independently on fast-paced infrastructure projects.
