A well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, delivering projects across Oxford and the surrounding areas.
This role will suit a Project Manager with strong experience across all aspects of groundworks and civil engineering, who is confident managing site operations from pre-start through to completion in a site-based environment.
THE ROLEYou will take full responsibility for the delivery of groundworks and civils projects, overseeing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are completed safely, on programme and within budget. The role involves close coordination with engineers, commercial teams and clients, maintaining high standards of quality, safety and programme control.
REQUIREMENTSCandidates must have proven experience working as a Project Manager within groundworks and civil engineering. You should be comfortable managing site-based operations, coordinating labour, plant and materials, and dealing with technical and programme challenges as they arise.
Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain effective control of site activities. SMSTS is required and experience working on live construction sites is essential.
PACKAGEThe role offers a competitive salary of £80,000 – £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, with long-term stability and the opportunity to work with a reputable contractor on a varied portfolio of groundworks and civils projects in Oxford.
