We are actively building a network of experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyors to support a range of upcoming and ongoing civil engineering projects across London and the surrounding areas. We partner with a number of reputable Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors delivering works across sectors including:

  • Groundworks
  • RC Frames
  • Piling
  • Highways
  • Rail
  • Utilities
  • Infrastructure & public realm

With a strong pipeline of work developing, we are keen to connect with commercially astute QS professionals for future assignments.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within UK civils projects
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT forms of contract
  • Experience managing subcontract packages, valuations, and variations
  • Ability to produce accurate cost reporting and forecasts
  • Confident working closely with operational teams and clients
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent experience preferred

Typical contract details:

  • Freelance / self-employed / CIS options available
  • Day rates dependent on experience, project, and level of responsibility
  • Opportunities range from QS through to Senior QS level
  • Sites and offices across London and the Home Counties
