We are actively building a network of experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyors to support a range of upcoming and ongoing civil engineering projects across London and the surrounding areas. We partner with a number of reputable Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors delivering works across sectors including:
- Groundworks
- RC Frames
- Piling
- Highways
- Rail
- Utilities
- Infrastructure & public realm
With a strong pipeline of work developing, we are keen to connect with commercially astute QS professionals for future assignments.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within UK civils projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT forms of contract
- Experience managing subcontract packages, valuations, and variations
- Ability to produce accurate cost reporting and forecasts
- Confident working closely with operational teams and clients
- Degree-qualified or equivalent experience preferred
Typical contract details:
- Freelance / self-employed / CIS options available
- Day rates dependent on experience, project, and level of responsibility
- Opportunities range from QS through to Senior QS level
