A well-established water, utilities and streetworks contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team, delivering projects across Bedfordshire and the surrounding regions.
This role is suited to a Project Manager with strong utilities and streetworks experience who is confident managing projects from planning through to completion within live environments, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
THE ROLE
You will take full responsibility for the management of water, utilities and streetworks projects, overseeing site teams, subcontractors and supervisors while coordinating programmes, resources and budgets. The role involves close liaison with clients, local authorities and utility providers, ensuring compliance with NRSWA requirements, permits and contractual obligations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience working as a Project Manager within water, utilities or streetworks environments with a minimum of five years in a similar role.
- Valid SMSTS qualification.
- Strong knowledge of NRSWA, permits, reinstatement standards and safe systems of work.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
PACKAGE
The role offers a competitive salary of £65,000 – £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, with long‐term stability and the opportunity to work with an established contractor on a varied portfolio of utility and infrastructure projects.
