A growing civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is establishing a new regional delivery hub in the East of England. The business is delivering reinforced concrete and groundworks packages for major water treatment and infrastructure projects and is now seeking experienced Project Managers to lead key schemes from pre-construction through to handover.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the overall planning, coordination, and delivery of RC & groundworks projects. You’ll manage site teams and subcontractors, ensuring each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day delivery of RC & groundworks packages on water infrastructure projects.
- Ensure programmes, budgets, and quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and engineers.
- Ensure compliance with all HSEQ procedures and policies.
- Liaise with clients, design teams, and commercial departments.
- Drive project reporting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Support regional growth by helping to establish strong delivery processes.
- Experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager in RC & groundworks, ideally within water or utilities infrastructure.
- Capable of managing complex civil packages and leading site-based teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to report accurately.
- Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between projects.
