We are working with a well-established contractor delivering a range of civil engineering and landscaping schemes across the South East, and are looking to engage an experienced Planner to support their growing project pipeline. This is an opportunity to join a business with a strong order book, working across a mix of infrastructure, public realm, and landscaping-led civil engineering projects.
The Role:
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects through effective planning and programme management, working closely with both site and commercial teams. Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining project programmes (Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject)
- Supporting project teams with short-term and long-term planning
- Monitoring progress and identifying potential risks or delays
- Producing updates, reports, and programme revisions
- Working closely with site teams to ensure programmes are realistic and achievable
- Supporting the tendering process with programme input where required
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Planner within civils, infrastructure, or landscaping projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and delivery
- Experience using planning software such as Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject
- Ability to communicate effectively with both site and office teams
- Commercial awareness and understanding of project constraints
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and programme management
