The Enable Infrastructure Delivery Team proudly delivers infrastructure solutions going above and beyond for our customer and leaving a legacy within the community. Given a successful work winning effort, we have a new project starting in March through to December on a highways scheme on the M40. The role is overseeing the full life cycle and delivery of projects. They will supervise the work of construction managers and other project staff. The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of projects on time and on budget. This is a role working on site around Junction 10-12 of the M40 (Banbury area). Contract position for 6-9 months initially.
Role responsibilities:
- Manage delivery on site
- Mobilise resources and plant to deliver highways and associated civils works
- Manage client expectations
- Manage delivery within budget
- Provide reports on progress internally and externally
Key selection factors:
- Electrical delivery experience
- Ability to manage changing client requirements
- Ability to get up to speed quickly
Experience:
- 5 to 8 years' experience in the installation, construction and delivery of highway infrastructure projects
- Highways and associated civils construction experience
Qualifications:
- APM or Similar or Degree (Mandatory)
- APMG Project Planning & Controlâ„¢ Foundation and Practitioner (or working towards), or PRINCE
- Civil Engineer (Desirable)
Technical skills:
- Numerate and able to demonstrate strong Excel, project and PowerPoint skills; computer literacy is essential
- An excellent understanding of project controls and commercial management
- NEC contract & Highways England contract appreciation or accreditation
- A proven understanding of all H&S regulations, policies, standards, and legislation
Additional skills:
- Strong organisational and teamwork skills
- A proactive approach with an ability to learn new technologies
- Strong team leadership skills
