Our client, a leading specialist contractor operating within the highways and surfacing sector, is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team based in Hoo. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional to play a key role in the successful delivery of highways and asphalt surfacing projects, whilst supporting the continued growth of a successful and expanding business. The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple projects and frameworks, ensuring profitable and compliant project delivery from inception through to final account. Working closely with operational and senior management teams, you will lead commercial activities, manage risk, mentor junior staff and contribute to strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities Commercial Management Take full commercial responsibility for multiple projects and frameworks. Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans and CVRs. Forecast project performance, final accounts and cash flow. Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. Drive value engineering initiatives and margin improvement opportunities.
