A leading global organisation is seeking a Senior Commercial Broker to join its in-house Group Risk & Insurance function. This is a high-impact role offering the chance to work on a complex, multinational insurance programme while influencing strategic risk and financing decisions at group level.
You'll operate within a lean, high-performing team, taking ownership of programme delivery while partnering with senior stakeholders across an international business. This role is ideal for an experienced broker looking to transition in-house, or an existing in-house professional ready to step into a broader, more strategic position.
Key Responsibilities- Support the design, placement, and optimisation of the global insurance programme across:
- Property
- Casualty (EL/PL/Products)
- Motor Fleet
- Financial Lines (Cyber, D&O, Crime)
- Strong experience in the UK insurance market, ideally from a broker or in-house environment
- Exposure to large corporate or multinational programmes
- Solid technical knowledge across commercial lines, particularly Property & Liability
- Experience with the London Market, Lloyd's, and international insurers
- Ability to translate technical insurance concepts into clear commercial advice
- Experience reviewing contracts and insurance clauses (highly desirable)
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- CII qualified (ACII or working towards preferred)
- Degree or equivalent professional experience
- A visible, strategic role within a growing in-house insurance function
