The Role: As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving the company’s next phase of growth. You’ll be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective clients, qualifying opportunities, and generating meetings for the senior business development team. This is a highly proactive role suited to someone who thrives in a target-driven environment and enjoys building relationships through outbound activity. You’ll work closely with leadership and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies, identify new opportunities, and contribute directly to the growth of the business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities within target sectors and markets
  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound activity including calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Book and schedule meetings for senior team members with qualified prospects
  • Conduct outbound cold calling activity to drive pipeline growth
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline management
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine sales messaging and outreach strategies
  • Represent the business at networking events, trade shows, and industry events where required
  • Track and report on KPIs, pipeline activity, and performance metrics
  • Work closely with marketing teams to ensure alignment across campaigns and outreach activity
  • Meet and exceed monthly targets relating to activity, meetings, and qualified opportunities

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Minimum 1 years experience in a Sales Development, Business Development, or pipeline-focused sales role
  • Proven experience working in target-driven environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across phone, email, and video
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
  • Highly self-motivated, resilient, and proactive
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Comfortable conducting outbound cold calls and prospecting activity
  • Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-focused approach

Desirable:

  • Experience within B2B SaaS or product-led environments
  • Exposure to the creative, events, or media sectors
  • Experience attending networking or industry events
  • Familiarity with outreach and lead generation tools
