We are currently seeking an experienced Liability Loss Adjuster to join a well-established and highly respected claims operation, covering a varied portfolio of Employer’s Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL) and some Motor Liability claims across Buckinghamshire, East Anglia, Essex and London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established adjuster looking for autonomy, flexibility, and a strong caseload mix within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of liability claims from cradle-to-grave, handling investigations, policy interpretation, liability decisions, negotiation, and settlement across a broad range of injury and damage matters. The caseload will consist of approximately:

  • 60% Public Liability (PL)
  • 40% Employer’s Liability (EL)
  • Additional exposure to Motor Liability

You will operate across a regional patch including East Anglia, Essex and London (when required), conducting site visits, investigations and stakeholder meetings where necessary, whilst benefiting from a hybrid working model offering flexibility between home, field and office-based work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of EL, PL and Motor Liability claims from first notification through to settlement
  • Conducting detailed investigations into liability, causation and quantum
  • Handling injury and property damage claims
  • Interviewing witnesses, policyholders and third parties where required
  • Preparing reports and recommendations for clients and insurers
  • Working closely with brokers, insurers, solicitors and other stakeholders
  • Negotiating settlements and achieving positive customer outcomes
  • Maintaining excellent technical and service standards throughout the claims lifecycle

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Previous experience as a Liability Loss Adjuster or within complex liability claims handling
  • Strong technical knowledge across EL
