Join Our Growing Property Team
We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join our busy and expanding Residential Property department at our Liverpool Street office in the heart of the City of London. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking firm that prides itself on delivering exceptional client service while providing a supportive and collaborative working environment. You'll manage your own varied caseload with the support of an experienced team and have genuine opportunities for career progression.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion, ensuring transactions are handled efficiently and to the highest professional standards. Your work will include:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New build and off-plan purchases
- Shared ownership transactions
- Auction purchases and sales
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers and other solicitors
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documentation
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and anti-money laundering requirements
- Providing exceptional client care throughout every stage of the transaction
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate
- At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing (applications from experienced conveyancers with equivalent expertise will also be considered)
- The ability to independently manage a busy caseload
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property law
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- A proactive, organised and commercial approach
- A commitment to delivering a first-class client experience
