Are you an experienced Commercial Account Executive ready to take the lead and shape the future of a brokerage? Do you want to be more than “just another AE” but a leader, mentor, and key player in the business?
We’re working with a leading independent brokerage (part of a global organisation) looking for a trusted, experienced Account Executive to inherit a strong, loyal commercial book worth £250,000–£300,000 in income. There’s real opportunity here, not only to run and grow the book, but to build a team around you and step into a true leadership position.
Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of an established, high-value commercial book (£200k–£300k income).
- Developing trusted relationships with key clients and insurers.
- Delivering exceptional service, retention, and growth.
- Acting as a commercial leader within the business.
- Playing a central role in building and leading a team of Account Handlers and junior AEs.
- Balancing office presence, on-the-road client meetings, and occasional WFH.
- Working closely with senior leadership to shape future strategy.
What We’re Looking For:
- A solid, experienced Account Executive with a strong track record in mid-to-corporate commercial broking.
- Someone ready to step into a leadership role – not just in title but in action.
- A natural relationship-builder who can inspire trust – both internally and with clients.
- Someone who wants full freedom to build something of their own.
The Offer:
- £50,000 - £90,000+ salary (negotiable) + car allowance + commission scheme.
- A £250k+ book to inherit and grow.
- Full autonomy to shape your team, your approach, and your future.
- Join a supportive 42-person office with a family-run feel – but backed by global resources.
- Office-based with freedom to be on the road – we value presence and flexibility.
This is not just a job. It’s a succession opportunity – a rare opening to become part of the long-term future of a well-respected brokerage.
If you’re ready to step up, lead, and be trusted with something meaningful – let’s talk.
