With a nationwide client base, the business continues to expand within niche sectors — particularly Care & Social Welfare, supporting a diverse portfolio of care providers, charities, and social organisations.
We are seeking an experienced Client Executive to join a well-established Care & Social Welfare team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role with an established and well-maintained book of business worth approximately £190,000 in income, providing a strong foundation from day one.
You will be responsible for managing, retaining, and developing this portfolio, while also identifying opportunities for growth across both new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, independent insurance advice and exceptional client service
- Manage and develop an inherited portfolio of Care & Social Welfare clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal teams
- Negotiate with insurers to secure comprehensive cover and competitive premiums
- Identify and convert new business opportunities with marketing support
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, market conditions, and sector trends
- Work collaboratively with Client Advisors, Claims teams, and wider colleagues
- Monitor performance against targets and contribute to overall team success
- Proven experience within the insurance sector (essential)
- Strong technical knowledge and confidence working with insurers
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow client relationships
- Experience in a client-facing, revenue-generating role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Target-driven with a proactive, commercial mindset
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Experience within Care, Social Welfare, or similar regulated sectors
- CII qualifications (or working towards)
- Familiarity with Acturis
- Business or finance-related qualifications
