We’re hiring a Head of Sales & Partnerships for Sylva, a HealthTech startup building technology that helps families and services navigate neurodiversity and SEND support. Sylva’s platform connects families, healthcare providers and support services to make accessing and coordinating care easier. They're now looking for a commercial lead to scale local authority partnerships across the UK.
This is a rare opportunity to join a mission-driven startup in a foundational commercial role, working directly with the founder to shape the go-to-market strategy while closing meaningful deals across local authorities, education and more.
If you enjoy owning the full sales process, building partnerships, and turning early traction into real revenue, this role gives you the chance to do exactly that.
- Owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close across local authorities, school trusts and charities
- Building and managing a strong pipeline, forecasting revenue and delivering against agreed targets
- Running discovery calls, demos and commercial conversations with clinical, commissioning and operational stakeholders
- Creating and refining sales materials, outreach strategies and the company’s early sales playbook
Requirements:
- 4–8 years experience in B2B or public sector technology sales
- Experience selling into organisations such as local authorities, education or the third sector is highly valuable
- Strong consultative sales skills and the ability to navigate complex buying processes
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, SPIN, Sandler, Miller Heiman or similar
- An interest in improving support for neurodivergent children, young people and families
This is a founding commercial role with real influence over Sylva’s growth, offering hybrid working with a Bristol base and UK-wide clients. There is a clear opportunity to grow as the company scales.
