We’re working with a law firm in Stanmore looking for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join its team. You don’t need to be a qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer. The firm is interested in your practical experience, ability to manage your own caseload and commitment to providing a personal, responsive service to clients.

The opportunity

You’ll manage residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to post-completion, taking ownership of your files and keeping clients informed throughout the process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling a caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
  • Reviewing contracts, title documents and searches.
  • Raising and responding to enquiries and preparing reports for clients.
  • Liaising with solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other parties to progress transactions.
  • Managing exchange and completion arrangements.
  • Ensuring post-completion requirements, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications, are dealt with.
  • Maintaining accurate, compliant files and working towards agreed billing targets.

  • Residential conveyancing experience with the ability to manage your own caseload.
  • A strong understanding of the process from instruction to post-completion.
  • Confidence communicating with clients and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Good organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
