The role can offer flexibility on remote working, but you will need to be present in the

Southwark office a minimum of 3 days per week . Travel to sites and our other offices may be required from time to time also to conduct team meetings.

With our continued growth and success on a number of recent project awards around the country, we are looking to recruit a Document Controller to the team.

The Document Controller responsibilities include typing contracts, archiving files and ensuring all team members have access to necessary documentation.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience reviewing technical documents along with the ability to spot errors, ideally have some experience with in the rail or infrastructure sectors, but other construction sectors will be considered.

Ultimately, you’ll support our procedures maintaining transparent, up-to-date and easily traceable documents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Team with any scanning queries and document locations on Share Point
  • Audit documents uploaded by project teams to ensure quality and compliance
  • Doc Control (DC)
  • Document Transmittals – Issue and receiving of transmittal forms / to or from clients & suppliers
  • Upkeep of Documents Received Register – Recording all documentation that passes through DC
  • Upkeep of Documents Transmittals Register Recording all transmittals and issues accurately
  • Quality Checking all documentation passing through Document Control
  • Use of multiple Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) depending on client
  • Work across numerous projects and project teams

Requirements

  • Previous and recent experience in a document control role
  • Experience of document control in the energy, power, rail or highways sectors. other infrastructure sectors considered.
  • Experience of document control/Site Administration in the construction industry (essential)
  • Experience of using EDMS systems such as Projectwise and ASITE
  • Experience of using Sharepoint, EB, Aconnex – systems can be trained
  • Advanced user of MS Office
  • Advanced user of Share Point
  • Experience of using Document control systems
