We are looking to strengthen our marketing capabilities by promoting our brand and communication activities and as such we are looking to recruit a Marketing Assistant to join the team. This role would suit a newly qualified graduate or someone with 6 months + experience in a marketing role with an associated degree.

The Marketing Assistant supports the effective delivery of Enable’s brand, marketing, and communication activities. Working closely with and reporting to the Marketing Lead, this role provides day-to-day marketing support across digital channels, internal communications, brand asset coordination, and content development. The role contributes to strengthening the Enable brand and ensuring consistent, high-quality communication with our people, customers, partners, and wider stakeholders.

Key Deliverables

  • Digital & Social Channel Management
    • Deliverable: Maintaining an active and optimised online presence.
    • Tasks: Preparing and scheduling regular social media posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, while monitoring engagement. This also involves acting as the website steward by updating content, uploading articles, and supporting SEO tasks via WordPress.
  • Content Creation & Brand Asset Production
    • Deliverable: Producing and gathering visual marketing materials for business and project needs.
    • Tasks: Producing artwork for signage, decals, posters, and digital assets. Undertaking site visits to capture photography and videography, and editing those photos and videos to support the group.
  • Communications & Event Coordination
    • Deliverable: Supporting internal and external messaging, recognition, and industry presence.
    • Tasks: Assisting with internal communication campaigns and promoting group events. Externally, supporting the coordination of trade shows, gathering content for industry award submissions, and developing project case studies and feature publications.
  • Brand Stewardship & Digital Asset Management
    • Deliverable: Ensuring brand consistency and accessibility of materials across the company.
    • Tasks: Maintaining the storage library of digital assets, templates, and literature on the Intranet. Ensuring staff have access to the correct brand materials, monitoring their usage, and coordinating the delivery and installation of site marketing assets.
  • Pre-Construction & Business Support
    • Deliverable: Providing administrative and formatting support for commercial and planning activities.
    • Tasks: Assisting in the preparation, formatting, and proofreading of tender presentations and documents. Attending internal meetings to gather marketing information, supporting social value reporting, and helping schedule communications.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Relevant marketing industry experience, but not essential. Experience in B2B marketing is desirable.
  • Qualifications: A suitable degree in a relevant marketing or associated field is desirable.
  • Technical skills: Strong written communication skills. Knowledge of WordPress, MS Office, AI, and Adobe applications is desirable. Willingness to learn photography, videography, editing, and drone usage.
  • Additional skills: Creative, proactive, organised, curious. Team player with strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks with support. Driving licence preferred for site visits, but not essential.
