Enable Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Project Manager – Demolition / Enabling Works to lead the delivery of a major project in Liverpool Street, London. This role will suit an experienced demolition Project Manager who is confident managing complex works in a constrained city environment, where logistics, safety, sequencing, and stakeholder management are all critical. The successful candidate will take ownership of the demolition package, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and in line with client and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage demolition and enabling works from mobilisation through to completion
- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, logistics, and day-to-day operational delivery
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with relevant standards and procedures
- Coordinate sequencing, access, plant, labour, and site constraints in a busy urban environment
- Maintain accurate reporting, site records, and progress communication
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal management teams throughout delivery
- Monitor programme and drive timely completion of key project milestones
- Work closely with commercial and operational teams to maintain project control
Requirements
- Proven experience managing demolition or enabling works projects
- Strong understanding of demolition methodology, sequencing, and site safety
- Experience operating within constrained city-centre environments would be highly beneficial
- CCDO and other relevant demolition qualifications preferred
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain delivery under pressure
