Enable Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer – Major Civils to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering complex infrastructure works across Central London. Based between site and the King's Cross office, this role will take responsibility for engineering coordination, technical delivery and support to the Project Management team to ensure safe, compliant and efficient execution of works. You will play a key role in maintaining engineering standards across major civils packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical delivery across civil engineering works.
- Review drawings and technical documentation.
- Manage and resolve design queries.
- Liaise with design consultants and site teams.
- Ensure works are buildable and compliant with specifications.
- Support planning and sequencing of works.
- Monitor progress against programme requirements.
- Manage Site Engineers and engineering teams.
- Oversee inspections, testing and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain accurate as-built records and technical documentation.
- Support procurement of materials and subcontractors.
- Assist with commercial reporting and project coordination.
You will ensure that engineering delivery supports programme, safety and quality objectives across complex London infrastructure projects.
About You
To be considered, you will have:
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Engineer within major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering construction processes.
- Experience managing engineering teams on complex projects.
- Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- SMSTS CSCS card.
You will be technically strong, organised and proactive, capable of managing engineering delivery within a high-value project environment.
