A leading UK construction and engineering specialist is looking for a Bid Coordinator to support its growing pre‑construction team across major tender submissions. This role is ideal for someone highly organised, detail‑driven and comfortable sitting at the centre of multiple live bids, helping to ensure high‑quality, compliant and well‑presented submissions.
The Role
- Support the full bid lifecycle, from receipt of ITTs through to submission and handover.
- Coordinating tender documentation from receipt to submission and post‑tender handover.
- Full document control including registers, trackers, folders and electronic filing.
- Reviewing ITTs to identify actions, deadlines and information requirements.
- Writing, reviewing, formatting and submitting PQQs and tender responses.
- Managing tender portals, EDMS systems and client submission platforms.
- Coordinating NDAs, clarifications and client feedback.
- Supporting bid meetings, including agendas, minutes and actions.
- Maintaining deliverables checklists and reporting against progress.
- Collating CVs, capability statements, presentations and supporting materials.
- Updating CRM systems and maintaining bid libraries and templates.
- Providing general coordination and administrative support to the pre‑construction team.
About You
- Experience in a Bid Coordinator, Document Controller or Pre‑construction support role.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with documentation and formatting.
- Excellent written English, with confidence proofreading and reviewing content.
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
- Confident using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using tender portals or EDMS systems.
- A proactive, team‑focused approach with good communication skills.
- Able to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
