Enable Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Quantity Surveyor – Rail Infrastructure to support a live project in Hatfield. This is a very good opportunity for a commercially strong Senior QS with rail experience to join an active infrastructure scheme and provide key support across cost control, subcontractor management, contractual administration, and commercial reporting. The role will suit someone who understands the demands of rail projects and can operate effectively within a fast-paced delivery environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day commercial functions of a live rail infrastructure project
  • Prepare cost reports, forecasts, valuations, and variation assessments
  • Administer subcontractor accounts, applications, payments, and final accounts
  • Support contract administration in line with project requirements and contractual obligations
  • Work closely with project teams to monitor financial performance and commercial exposure
  • Assist with risk management, commercial strategy, and issue resolution
  • Ensure accurate reporting and maintenance of project commercial records
  • Provide dependable commercial support to both project and senior management teams

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the rail sector
