Enable Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Engineer – Groundworks / Civils to support the delivery of projects along the M3 / M4 corridor. This role is ideal for a capable Senior Engineer with strong site-based experience who is confident managing setting out, quality assurance, and day-to-day technical support across live civil engineering or groundworks schemes. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring works are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out setting out and engineering support across active work fronts
- Maintain QA records, as-built information, and technical documentation
- Support site teams in interpreting drawings and resolving engineering queries
- Ensure works are delivered accurately and in line with specification
- Assist with coordination between engineering and site management functions
- Monitor standards, tolerances, and site compliance from an engineering perspective
- Provide guidance to junior engineers where required
- Help drive technical quality and consistency across the project
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Senior Engineer within groundworks, civils, or infrastructure
- Strong setting out capability and good technical understanding of site engineering duties
- Experience maintaining QA and site records on live projects
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable working closely with site managers, subcontractors, and delivery teams
- CSCS and relevant qualifications preferred
