Enable Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major civils and structural works in Seascale, Cumbria. This is an excellent opportunity to take full responsibility for the successful delivery of complex infrastructure and structural packages, managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining three days on site with two days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing planning, coordination and delivery of civils and structural works
  • Leading site teams, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Maintaining full responsibility for health and safety compliance
  • Implementing and monitoring RAMS and Construction Phase Plans
  • Liaising with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Monitoring programme performance and progress
  • Managing project budgets, forecasts and commercial reporting
  • Overseeing variations and change control processes
  • Supporting procurement, sequencing and resource planning
  • Chairing progress meetings and resolving technical issues
  • Ensuring quality standards and project documentation are maintained

You will play a central role in driving programme performance, operational efficiency and safe project delivery.

About You

To be considered, you will have:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering or major infrastructure projects
  • Experience delivering major civils and/or structural works
  • Strong leadership and organisational capability
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
  • Solid understanding of construction processes and project delivery
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS card
  • Construction or Civil Engineering qualification

You will be a proactive, solutions-focused leader with the ability to manage complex projects in a structured and commercially aware manner.
