A leading UK structures and infrastructure specialist is recruiting a Project Director to lead the delivery of complex, high‑value engineering projects across England. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for safety, programme, commercial performance, quality and people.
The Role:
- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of major construction and engineering projects
- Take full ownership of safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across site and project functions
- Provide engineering leadership on buildability, temporary works and construction methodology
- Maintain strong project controls, planning and reporting
- Build trusted relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
- Support tenders and pre‑construction with technical, planning and delivery input
- Represent the business at senior client meetings, interviews and presentations
About You:
- Proven experience delivering complex, technically challenging infrastructure projects
- Strong background leading large site and project teams
- Excellent commercial awareness and financial control
- Confident communicator, comfortable operating at senior level
- Calm, decisive leader who performs well under pressure
- Strong understanding of temporary works, safety and engineering best practice
- CSCS card required; professional qualification or membership desirable
