This is a role for someone who wants influence, visibility and the chance to work on bids that genuinely matter.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Owning bids from opportunity through to contract award.
  • Shaping bid strategy with pre‑construction and commercial teams.
  • Managing bid programmes, inputs, governance and budgets.
  • Coordinating high‑quality written submissions and client presentations.
  • Managing tender documentation, clarifications and risk registers.

What we’re looking for:

  • This role suits someone who is organised, credible and comfortable taking the lead.
  • Proven experience in bid leadership or pre‑construction within construction or engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction tendering process.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids without losing attention to detail.

Why this opportunity?

  • High‑value, technically complex UK projects.
  • Clear ownership and visibility across bids and outcomes.
  • Supportive, employee‑owned business with long‑term stability.
  • Strong values‑led culture built on Responsibility, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence.
  • Genuine opportunity to influence future workload and growth.

If you’re a Bid Lead who wants better projects, more autonomy and a clearer voice in decision‑making, this is well worth a conversation.
