A leading UK construction and engineering specialist is expanding its pre‑construction function and is looking for four experienced Bid Leads to help secure a strong pipeline of complex, high‑profile projects. This is a role for someone who wants influence, visibility and the chance to work on bids that genuinely matter.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- You’ll sit at the centre of the bid process, driving quality, pace and clarity from start to finish.
- Owning bids from opportunity through to contract award.
- Shaping bid strategy with pre‑construction and commercial teams.
- Managing bid programmes, inputs, governance and budgets.
- Coordinating high‑quality written submissions and client presentations.
- Managing tender documentation, clarifications and risk registers.
- Working closely with clients to understand expectations and win themes.
- Pulling together technical, commercial, legal and supply‑chain content.
- Leading tender settlements and handovers into delivery teams.
What we’re looking for:

- Proven experience in bid leadership or pre‑construction within construction or engineering.
