ENABLE Glasgow is a community based charity working with adults with learning disabilities and their carers and families in Glasgow. We are currently recruiting for a part time Housekeeper/ Domestic Assistant (20 Hours pw) to join our skilled staff team at our Esmond Street Advanced Supported Living Service in the Yorkhill area of the city. Esmond Street provides a high quality 24/7 supported living service to 22 adults with learning disabilities who are older and/or have advancing needs.
We are looking for staff members who share ENABLE Glasgow's values in promoting the rights of individuals with learning disabilities to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. Our frontline workers are incredible, caring and talented individuals whose skills are invaluable to supporting the well-being of some of the most vulnerable people in our society. Your role will be to undertake general housekeeping/ domestic duties at our Esmond Street Supported Living service in Yorkhill. Duties will involve participating in the general running of the household from 4.30pm-9.30pm. These are the fixed shift times for this post. The successful applicant must have a positive attitude towards and sensitivity to the needs of adults with learning disabilities.
