Enable Futures, an award-winning apprenticeship employer are partnering with G S Kelsey Construction to support the delivery of new build housing for our members. We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Construction Site Supervisor to work with G S Kelsey Construction and become part of their growing team.

Job Duties

  • Supervision of specialist contractors
  • The control of health and safety standards on construction projects
  • Recording, control and reporting of progress on a construction project
  • The minimisation of the environmental impact of construction projects
  • Control of quality of works on a construction project
  • Assisting commercial staff with the monitoring of costs on a construction project

Skills Required

  • Demonstrate a knowledge and interest in working in the technical side of the construction sector.
  • Confident with technology and keen to learn more!
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail.
  • Thinking and reasoning skills
  • Ability to think analytically.
  • You’ll need to be self‑motivated and organised.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Computer skills and an ability to use word/excel.
  • Effective Customer Care skills.
  • Willing to work towards a L4 qualification.
  • Ability to undertake any necessary travel in connection with the duties of this post.
  • Aspire to learn to drive and own their own vehicle.
  • A driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to work on own initiative as an individual or as a team member.
  • Contribute to the development of good working relationships within the team.
  • Ability to hit the ground running
  • Previous experience in the construction sector is essential

Qualifications Required

  • Willingness to immediately attain a CSCS card (this will be funded).
  • 5 GCSE’s grades A-C / 5 – 9 including Maths, English and science or their equivalent.
  • Level 3 BTEC / T Level in Construction related course or 2 A Levels
  • At least 6 months previous construction site experience

Qualification Information

Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor (Duration 36 months + End Point Assessment Period)

Hours and Wage

£322.77 per week (This is made up of the national apprenticeship wage + a £17 weekly travel allowance) / 40.5 hours per week (7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday & Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm) to note these hours may change to meet site requirements.
