We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Construction Site Supervisor to work with G S Kelsey Construction and become part of their growing team.
Job Duties
- Supervision of specialist contractors
- The control of health and safety standards on construction projects
- Recording, control and reporting of progress on a construction project
- The minimisation of the environmental impact of construction projects
- Control of quality of works on a construction project
- Assisting commercial staff with the monitoring of costs on a construction project
Skills Required
- Demonstrate a knowledge and interest in working in the technical side of the construction sector.
- Confident with technology and keen to learn more!
- Thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Thinking and reasoning skills
- Ability to think analytically.
- You’ll need to be self‑motivated and organised.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Computer skills and an ability to use word/excel.
- Effective Customer Care skills.
- Willing to work towards a L4 qualification.
- Ability to undertake any necessary travel in connection with the duties of this post.
- Aspire to learn to drive and own their own vehicle.
- A driving license and access to a vehicle

- Previous experience in the construction sector is essential
Qualifications Required
- Willingness to immediately attain a CSCS card (this will be funded).
- 5 GCSE’s grades A-C / 5 – 9 including Maths, English and science or their equivalent.
- Level 3 BTEC / T Level in Construction related course or 2 A Levels
- At least 6 months previous construction site experience

Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor (Duration 36 months + End Point Assessment Period)
Hours and Wage
£322.77 per week (This is made up of the national apprenticeship wage + a £17 weekly travel allowance) / 40.5 hours per week (7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday & Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm) to note these hours may change to meet site requirements.
