CPP Trading Group Ltd trades under 2 names, Clyde Paper & Print and Clyde Presentation Packaging It is a family run business situated in Glasgow, the UK's fourth largest city, with offices and a 22,000 sq. ft. warehouse near the river Clyde.
Since its first beginnings in 1977 the company has gone from strength to strength, and more importantly, has learnt to change with the times in a rapidly changing market.
Originally selling copier paper to offices, Clyde now sells a wide range of digital printing papers, corporate print and luxury presentation packaging.

This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of our warehouse and muti-drop delivery operations.
You will be primarily responsible for driving our delivery vehicle to deliver and collect goods, while also providing active support in the warehouse during non-driving hours.
You'll work closely with the Operations Manager and wider team to ensure deliveries run smoothly, stock is handled correctly and the warehouse is kept safe and organised.

- Support warehouse operations effectively when not driving, contributing to a tidy and well-organised environment.
- Maintain the highest standards of vehicle safety, compliance and customer presentation at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Driving & Deliveries
- Drive the company vehicle safely and compliantly to deliver and collect goods across the local area and beyond as required.
- Complete all relevant driver documentation including tachograph records, daily walk-round checks and defect reports.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, roadworthy and presentable at all times; report any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Liaise with customers professionally on delivery and collection, resolving any issues calmly and escalating where necessary.
- Support route planning to maximise efficiency and minimise delays.
- Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle, including use of pallet trucks and other manual handling equipment.
- Warehouse Support
- Pick, check and prepare customer orders for dispatch accurately and to schedule.
- Assist with booking in, unloading and checking incoming deliveries.
- Replenish stock and assist with regular stock takes as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Maintain warehouse tidiness, cleanliness and safe working practices at all times.
- Support loading of vans and assist drivers with route preparation where needed.
- Carry out any other reasonable warehouse duties as required by the Operations Manager.

- All deliveries and collections completed safely, accurately and on time.
- Vehicle daily checks completed and documented without exception.
- Warehouse tasks completed to the required standard and within expected timeframes.
- Zero vehicle incidents attributable to driver error or non-compliance.
- Positive feedback from customers and colleagues on professionalism and reliability.
Experience & Qualifications
- Valid Class 2 HGV licence (desired).
- Valid Driver CPC qualification (desired).
- Clean or near-clean driving licence (essential).
- Digital tachograph card (desired).
- Previous experience in a similar driving role (desirable).
- Experience of warehouse work or manual handling (desirable).
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential – training available).

- Safe, confident and professional driver with full knowledge of relevant road transport legislation.
- Good time management and ability to work to tight delivery schedules.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Organised and methodical approach to paperwork and compliance.
