Job purpose
Reporting to the Procurement & Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for the operational performance levels of the Supply Chain for En Route, developing, implementing and maintaining best-practice processes in all of the regions in which En Route operates. You will support the development of the Supply Chain strategy, working closely with all internal and external stakeholders to develop and operate a Supply Chain network capable of meeting En Route’s growth objectives.
Key responsibilities
- To work with the Procurement & Supply Chain Director in developing and implementing a clear Supply Chain strategy to deliver En Route’s requirements, aligned with the global strategy.
- To lead the Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Stock Control & Logistics teams, as well as Supply Chain Data Analysis in the delivery of required levels of service and cost effectiveness.
- Dotted line management responsibility for Supply Chain Operations in Regional locations where appropriate, working closely with Regional management to implement common best practice globally.
- Drive collaboration between the Planning teams and other key functions (Customer Service / Commercial / Finance / NPD / Creative) to ensure effective, robust planning and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the Heads of specific customer business units to deliver required levels of performance and facilitate any required performance reporting and initiative tracking.
- Ensure strong operational performance with regards to delivery of product on time and in full.
- Drive Supply Chain teams in development and implementation of various policies designed to deliver optimal stock holdings at each point in the Supply Chain, to balance availability, wastage, working capital, cost to serve etc.
- Ensure robust control & reporting of inventory, consumption and any associated write-off, driving the implementation of new processes as required in collaboration with the Finance team.
- Implement, measure and report on KPI’s for all relevant metrics, reporting performance to the Procurement & Supply Chain Director and broader business on a regular basis.
- Identify, implement and track opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost effectiveness, reporting on progress to Procurement & Supply Chain Director on a regular basis.
- Maintain strong relationships with 3PL’s and suppliers, ensuring forecasts are shared appropriately and that their performance is measured, communicated and improved to required levels.
- Work closely with the Procurement & Supply Chain Director to develop and implement the Supply Chain network design to meet the evolving needs of the global En Route business as it continues to grow.
- To undertake any other duties, which may from time to time be assigned.

- Demonstrable Leadership skills.
- Strong Supply Chain experience in multiple environments, knows what good looks like.
- End to End Supply Chain Operations professional, experience with suppliers, warehousing, logistics, planning.
- Proven ability in International Operations and Supply Chain.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of managing and developing technical Supply Chain experts.
