Who are we? We’re En Route, a welcoming bunch with a down‑to‑earth outlook that helps build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues alike. As global specialists in passenger solutions, supply chain services and sourcing for airlines and airline caterers, we operate globally as part of dnata, one of the world’s largest combined air services providers. En Route’s expertise is one of the many reasons why we’ve enjoyed more than 20 years as a global food solutions partner, with offices in the UK, USA, Australia and UAE.

Job Purpose: We’re looking for a proactive 3PL Warehouse Coordinator to support the day‑to‑day operations of En Route’s third‑party warehouse network across the UK and Europe. Reporting to the Warehouse Lead, this role plays a key part in keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly – ensuring stock accuracy, SLA performance, and strong collaboration with our 3PL partners.

You’ll be a central operational contact for external warehouse providers, helping monitor daily activity, investigate issues, and ensure data flows accurately between warehouses and our ERP system. If you enjoy working across teams, solving operational problems, and keeping things on track in a fast‑paced supply chain environment, this role could be a great fit.

What you’ll be doing:

  • 3PL Warehouse Operations
    • Support daily operations across assigned third‑party warehouses in line with agreed processes.
    • Act as a first point of contact for routine operational queries from warehouse partners.
    • Monitor daily warehouse activity, including receipts, dispatches, returns, and inventory adjustments.
    • Identify service issues, delays, or process deviations and elevate where needed.
    • Support investigations and corrective actions to resolve operational issues.
  • SLA Monitoring & Performance
    • Track warehouse performance against agreed SLAs.
    • Log, monitor, and follow up on operational issues to completion.
    • Highlight recurring issues or risks and elevate to the Warehouse Lead.
    • Support preparation of performance data for reviews and reporting.
  • Stock Control & Inventory Accuracy
    • Monitor stock movements to ensure accurate and timely ERP transactions.
    • Support stock reconciliations, discrepancy investigations, and data validation.
    • Assist with remote cycle counts and support physical counts when required.
    • Ensure damages, losses, or discrepancies are recorded and communicated correctly.
    • Support inbound and outbound movements with suppliers, carriers, and 3PLs.
    • Help ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.
    • Investigate delivery issues, shortages, or damages and support resolution.
    • Validate shipping documentation such as packing lists and delivery paperwork.
    • Work closely with Supply Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, and Finance teams.
    • Provide timely updates on warehouse activity and operational issues.
    • Support finance queries relating to inventory and stock transactions.
  • Reporting & Administration
    • Maintain accurate records of issues, actions, and resolutions.
    • Produce routine operational and stock movement reports.
    • Support the upkeep of warehouse SOPs and operational documentation.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, or stock control.
  • Exposure to working with third‑party logistics providers (3PLs).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes and inventory flows.
  • Experience using ERP systems and managing stock transactions.
  • Good Excel skills and a high level of data accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Degree‑level education or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central or a similar ERP system.
  • Background in FMCG, food, or consumer goods supply chains.
  • Basic understanding of import/export or international logistics.
