We have opportunities available for part time and full time Support Workers working waking nights to join the team at Halton Supported Living based in Runcorn, Cheshire, WA7 1DF. This role will be dual working with one other support worker to support a gentleman in his 30s who has learning disabilities and is registered blind to live in his own property in the Runcorn area. This gentleman loves different types of music, listening to sensory films, going out and about, and has a really infectious giggle. He likes to be and feel involved in conversation and going to the pub is one of his favourite outings.
Salary: £13.12 per hour
Hours: 20 & 30 weekly contracts available (10 hours shifts working 10pm-8am)

Responsibilities
In this role, you will work waking nights and be responsible for providing excellent care to the person we support. Your duties will include administering medication and carrying out personal care tasks. You will play a vital role in ensuring that this gentleman is safe, comfortable, and most importantly happy. This is a truly rewarding role that requires energy, compassion and a passion for helping others. You will be working as part of a supportive team of professionals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of those they support. You will have access to ongoing training and development, allowing you to grow in your role and build a fulfilling career.
Qualifications
It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role. We are seeking individuals who can showcase that their personal values align with ours here at Making Space. As this person is non-verbal and blind, clear communication is vital. Please note, unfortunately we are only able to accept applications from females for this post due to service user preference.
