We have an opportunity available for a Senior Support Worker to join the team at Cedar House based in Lincolnshire, PE11 1QF.

Salary: £25,298 per annum

Hours: 35 weekly

Contract: Fixed term contract until 31st March 2027

Responsibilities

As a Senior Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to supervise and delegate tasks to a dedicated team of support workers, ensuring that values-based support is delivered to the highest standards to the people we support. You'll be supporting adults with various conditions including LD, dementia, mental health and other physical conditions on a person-centered basis, from following care plans to administering medication and assisting with daily living.

Qualifications

As Senior Support Worker you will supervise staff members and delegate responsibilities ensuring values based support is delivered to the highest standard so previous Support Worker experience is essential. You will be supporting adults with mental health illnesses on a person centred basis. Tasks will include following a care plan, medication administering, accessing the community & domestic tasks such as support with shopping and daily living tasks. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role. Must have worked within Health and Social Care for a minimum of 2 years. We are seeking individuals who can showcase that their personal values align ours here at Making Space.
