Job Description
We are hiring a Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution across our products and infrastructure. You will work closely with Engineering, Architecture, and Product teams to map system flows, clarify technical requirements, and document integration points across internal and external services.
This role is ideal for someone who understands APIs, backend platforms, and system behaviors and who can translate complex business and functional requirements into actionable technical documentation. You will play a key role in ensuring that solution designs are both technically sound and aligned with business goals. The right candidate is structured, analytical, and fluent in both technical and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document system flows, technical dependencies, and integration points between internal components and external services (e.g., APIs, backend platforms, partner integrations).
- Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture teams to evaluate solution options and ensure proposed designs align with both business needs and technical feasibility.
- Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical specifications, including sequence diagrams, data flows, and interface definitions.
- Partner with Tech Leads and Product Managers to validate feasibility, scope, and edge cases during planning and grooming.
- Maintain clear and structured documentation in Jira and Confluence, ensuring alignment across Product and Engineering.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of implementation details and impact.
- Support API design and documentation efforts, ensuring internal and third-party APIs are clearly defined, versioned, and well-integrated.
- Contribute to platform consistency by identifying patterns, redundancies, or gaps in system behaviors or architecture.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role within Tech, Fintech, and Web3.
- Strong understanding of software architecture concepts, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Experience creating system flow diagrams, data models, and functional/technical specs.
- Proficient with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Lucidchart.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, especially in translating between business and technical perspectives.
- Must be actively involved in Web3 β e.g., operating own wallet, using DeFi protocols, exploring dApps, participating in DAOs or open-source projects. Weβre looking for someone deeply embedded in the ecosystem β not just a casual trader.
