To support business growth we are seeking an additional Field Service Engineer. This is an important multi-faceted customer-facing role demanding a thorough understanding of water treatment and a high level of professionalism. Responsibilities
- Site-based servicing and maintenance of water treatment systems
- Membrane exchanges and replacement parts installation
- Clean In Place (CIP) and chemical management
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- In-person communication with operational customer personnel
- Daily submission of comprehensive site visit reports
- Monitoring and handling internal and external communication in a polite and professional manner
- Adding value and seeking opportunities for additional customer projects
- Ensuring pilot systems and rental assets are performing well and properly maintained
- Customer communication for visit planning and reporting
- Assisting with system builds and commissioning of new equipment
- Providing engineering support during project/system installations
- Customer visits and presentations to build service and maintenance contract network
- Assisting with capturing data from operational pilot systems

Working Location
This is a site focused role requiring frequent travel, mostly across the south and south west.
Qualifications and experience
- Time served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering, or/and Degree qualified in process, chemical, electrical or mechanical engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar hands-on practical role
