EMU Australia is expanding its European presence, and we’re looking for a dynamic Communications Manager to elevate our visibility, desirability, and consumer engagement across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Public Relations
- Implement EMU’s global earned media, influencer and collaboration strategies to enhance brand appeal and demand with a focus on key target audience groups.
- Ensure consistent storytelling across European markets while allowing for local relevance.
- Develop and implement always on PR strategies for Europe with the UK and Germany being two of the key markets.
- Build on strong established relationships with media, stylists, content creators, and industry partners.
- Own and oversee all press office activities, pitch stories and secure coverage, manage product seeding, handle reactive communications and issue escalation.
- Influencer Outreach
- Identify and nurture strong relationships with influencers and creators aligned with our brand values.
- Identify and contact creators, manage gifting request end to end, briefs, approvals and content usage rights.
- Manage and develop influencer campaigns end-to-end, ensuring authentic partnerships that drive visibility and engagement.
- Track performance, optimise outreach and deliver measurable impact.
- Social Content Coordination
- Continually oversee collation and sharing of European content via the social content pipeline for global internal and external usage.
- Work in collaboration with internal creative and social resources to ensure the content is used across digital, eDM and social channels within approvals and guidelines.
- Retail & Events Marketing
- Create consumer-focused marketing activations that elevate brand awareness and desire.
- Identify and execute opportunities for branded events that align with the overall brand positioning and seasonal GTM priorities, including partner planning and launch support.
- Support and steer customer marketing initiatives across key accounts and partners.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure consistent, compelling retail and online marketing execution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with global brand, product, and sales teams to ensure aligned messaging across markets.
- Bring fresh ideas to craft meaningful and memorable consumer touchpoints.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent in English (must) and German (highly desirable).
- Proven experience and contacts in PR, influencer marketing, or brand communications—ideally within fashion, footwear or lifestyle.
- A natural storyteller with strong media and influencer relationships.
- Confident working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Someone proactive, hands on, highly organised, and energised by building brand love.
- Willingness to travel.
