We are seeking a highly credible and experienced Head of Health, Safety, Quality, Environment and Compliance to lead, strengthen and integrate Emtelle’s global HSQEC agenda. This is a senior leadership role (but hands on) with responsibility for establishing consistent standards, governance, systems and assurance across health and safety, product and process quality, environmental performance, sustainability alignment, regulatory compliance and customer requirements. Working closely with regional leadership, operations, engineering, technical, supply chain and commercial teams, the postholder will ensure that Emtelle’s risk management, compliance culture and continuous improvement capability support safe, responsible and high-performing growth across all sites.
Reporting into the senior leadership team, this role will be responsible for shaping and delivering a best-in-class HSQEC function that supports Emtelle's ambitious growth plans and global manufacturing footprint. The successful candidate will provide both strategic direction and operational leadership, ensuring compliance, governance and continuous improvement remain embedded throughout the business.
The role will lead the development and delivery of Emtelle’s HSQEC strategy across its manufacturing operations, driving a culture where safety, quality, environmental responsibility and compliance are embedded throughout the organisation. The successful candidate will oversee integrated management systems, governance and assurance activities, whilst partnering closely with operational and functional leaders to strengthen risk management, improve performance and ensure consistent standards across multiple sites.
We are seeking an experienced HSQEC leader who has operated within a complex, multi-site manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure or industrial environment. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership capability, commercial awareness and the credibility to influence stakeholders at all levels, while remaining comfortable operating in a hands-on capacity when required.
The role is Scotland-based, with a hybrid working model, although regular on-site attendance is preferred to support engagement with manufacturing operations and key stakeholders.
