Location: Kent

Salary: £34,000 - £45,000 DOE

Emtech Recruitment are working in partnership with a growing Engineering Consultancy who are looking to appoint a Transport Planner to join their expanding team in Kent. This role would suit an individual with a strong background in transport planning, particularly someone confident in report writing across a range of development types. The successful candidate will join a close-knit, collaborative team delivering projects nationwide. The consultancy works across a diverse portfolio including Education, Sports & Leisure, Commercial, Industrial, Residential and Retail developments.

Key Experience & Requirements

  • 2-5 years' experience preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
  • Experience in junction modelling and preliminary layout design
  • Confident, client-facing professional capable of representing the business
  • Ability to support or lead projects with future progression opportunities
  • Previous site visit experience desirable
  • Technical knowledge of Junctions 10, ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG advantageous
  • Experience on residential, retail and commercial schemes beneficial

The Role

You will be joining an established consultancy as part of a growing transport planning team of around 20 professionals, working alongside a wider multi-disciplinary office. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Director, take ownership of your own projects, and progress your career within a supportive environment.
