Emtech are working with a long-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices in Bristol who are seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join their growing team. With over 40 years of experience, they deliver innovative, practical and sustainable engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out detailed structural design and analysis independently for smaller projects.
  • Use modelling software (e.g., TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, or similar).
  • Prepare and check calculations, drawings, reports, and contract documents.
  • Run smaller projects, liaising directly with architects, contractors, and clients.
  • Present technical work confidently to stakeholders.
  • Apply knowledge of Health & Safety, environmental and quality management standards.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ UK industry experience.
  • Actively working toward Chartership (CEng) with ICE or IStructE.
  • Proficiency in structural design software (TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A valid driving licence (desirable).
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK.
