Emtech Recruitment is working with a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer for their growing Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered or near-Chartered Structural Engineer looking to work on a varied portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, education, regeneration and mixed-use developments.
You'll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team focused on sustainable design and high-quality engineering solutions, with the opportunity to lead projects, mentor junior engineers and work closely with both public and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities- Structural design and analysis across a range of building projects
- Preparing and reviewing calculations, drawings and technical reports
- Managing project delivery, resources and deadlines
- Attending client, design team and site meetings
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and technicians
- Assisting with project coordination and business development activities
- Ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and quality standards
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)
- Strong experience delivering UK building structures projects
- Proficient in structural design and technical reporting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience working across multiple sectors
