We're partnering with a growing UK-based Civil Engineering Consultancy that specialises in infrastructure design for residential, commercial, education, and mixed-use developments across the UK.
With a strong and expanding project pipeline, they are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to join their fully remote team. The business has successfully embraced flexible working, with most employees working remotely and a small number based in the office, creating a collaborative and supportive environment without the need for a daily commute.

Working remotely, you'll be responsible for delivering highways and drainage designs for a variety of development schemes from pre-planning through to detailed design. You'll work closely with an experienced Chartered Director who will provide ongoing technical guidance, mentorship, and support towards professional development and Chartership.
- Design highways and drainage infrastructure for residential, commercial, retail, mixed-use, and regeneration projects.
- Produce road layouts, junction designs, and car park layouts.
- Prepare drainage strategies incorporating Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
- Support the delivery of Flood Risk Assessments where required.
- Assist with projects through planning, detailed design, and technical approval stages.
- Liaise with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in highways and drainage design within a consultancy environment.
- Experience working on development infrastructure projects, including residential, commercial, retail, mixed-use, or regeneration schemes.
- Understanding of SuDS principles and drainage design.
- Experience preparing or contributing to Flood Risk Assessments (desirable).
- Familiarity with projects at both planning and detailed design stages.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow, and Civil 3D or Site 3D.
Fully remote working from anywhere in the UK or Europe.
