We’re looking for a professional, organised and approachable Office Administrator to join our Emtec Building Services North team in Newcastle. This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive and experienced team. This is more than a front-of-house position. You’ll be at the heart of the business, keeping everything running smoothly and supporting teams across the office.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating a warm, professional welcome for visitors and callers
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to engineers, estimators, managers and Directors
- Assisting with procurement and material orders (Business Central)
- Managing weekly timesheets, labour records, and invoice queries
- Maintaining project files, documentation and reports
- Organising plant registers, training renewals and fleet admin
- Coordinating meetings, office activities and general admin tasks
- Supporting site teams with packs and weekly returns
- Ensuring processes align with ISO9001 standards

- Strong administration experience, ideally within construction or building services
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Friendly, professional communicator
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Business Central a bonus)
- Able to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, reliable and a strong team player
