Do you want to work for one of the fastest growing e-commerce brands in the UK? They are about to go global and expand into a number of countries outside the UK across Europe as well as the US. They have a real familial unit as a business with everyone being "on the same team" and working towards developing a brilliant customer product offering where the customer experience is at the heart of everything they do. Their product has sold phenomenally well in the UK with them becoming profitable in their second year (now in year 4 and grown even more). Turning over £20m + they are now looking to do two things:
- Expand the business globally
- Slightly diversify their product offering (whilst not diluting their existing brand)
As such they need a Product Owner with strong e-commerce experience to work closely with their Head of Tech/CTO and business stakeholders to help define their strategy for expansion into other countries and also their diversification piece. You will be working very closely with the engineering team as they are currently redeveloping/rearchitecting their system to support this expansion and cope with an increased customer base as they scale. An understanding of architecture or previous close work with engineering teams would be useful.
This company has an awesome culture which promotes both personal and professional growth whilst also being very switched on, successful and highly ambitious - a combination quite tricky to achieve. There is a huge growth/career opportunity here as the business is likely to rocket over the next year.
Key Skills:
- Gathering/helping shape/prioritising business requirements
- Doing the above in conjunction with the engineering team to ensure these are realistic/achievable
- Helping build/own a detailed product roadmap to adapt the product, launch and scale
- E-commerce experience
- Ideally a good understanding of working closely with software engineers and some of the principles around architecture/scalability
- Any exposure to working with SaaS based solutions/products
Location: South West London
Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE
Benefits: All the usual (pension etc) plus some you wouldn't have expected!
