At Emtec Building Services, we’re continuing to grow our delivery teams to support an exciting and varied pipeline of projects across Scotland. As a nationwide M&E contractor with a strong in‑house workforce, we’re now looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join us and play a key role on some genuinely interesting projects.
This is a hands‑on, site‑based role where you’ll be trusted to lead, coordinate and deliver with the backing of a supportive, experienced business behind you.
The Role
- As Electrical Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the successful day‑to‑day delivery of electrical works on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Leading the delivery of projects from start through to completion.
- Supervising and coordinating on‑site operatives and subcontractors.
- Ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with programme and budget.
- Upholding all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards at all times.
- Attending and contributing to client, consultant, and main contractor meetings.
- Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks and regular quality and safety inspections.
- Supporting workforce planning and allocation of resources on site.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and site teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience supervising electrical works on construction projects, ideally within an M&E contracting environment.
- Confident working independently, managing priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Practical problem‑solver with sound decision‑making ability.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office packages.
- SSSTS Health & Safety qualification (essential).
