We’re looking for a skilled Coded Welder to join our growing Off-Site Manufacturing team at Emtec Building Services, based at our manufacturing facility in Coatbridge. This is a hands-on role where precision, teamwork and quality really matter. You’ll play an important part in delivering high-spec modular builds for a wide range of projects across the UK, working as part of a team that takes real pride in doing things properly.

4-day working week: Monday to Thursday, 7am – 5pm

The Role

As a Coded Welder, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality welding and fabrication work to exacting standards, helping us deliver modular plantrooms and off-site manufacturing solutions safely, efficiently and with a strong focus on quality.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out high-quality TIG, MIG and Electrode welding to NDT-tested standards
  • Interpreting detailed fabrication drawings and following the correct welding procedures
  • Supporting the workshop team with installs, including pumps, heating accessories and associated components
  • Communicating progress updates and quality checks to the Workshop Supervisor
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient working environment
  • Completing QA documentation for all tasks undertaken

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified welder with experience working to BS ISO 15614-2, BS EN287 or similar standards
  • Good knowledge of plantroom pipework and HVAC systems
  • Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving
  • Flexibility to travel for occasional site-based work if required
  • ECS/CSCS card

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

  • A valid UK driving licence
